Welcome to New King's Road School.
We are a friendly and supportive school at the centre of our local community. Our children are happy and settled here. In 2023, we retained our Ofsted 'Good' rating and in September 2025, we became part of the Quality First Education Trust. In September 2026, we changed our name to New King's Road School (from Thomas's Academy). We believe in providing an excellent education for all.
Deciding which school to send your child to is a very important decision. We welcome children from all parts of our local community and are ready and experienced to help your child settle in quickly, whether they join us in Nursery, Reception or in Years 1 – 6 where we may have places available.

How to apply
New King's Road School follows the agreed Hammersmith & Fulham Council procedures for admissions for Reception and Years 1 to 6. The closing date for Reception admissions for September 2027 will be 15 January 2027. Families will hear if they have been offered a place on national offer day.
Applications for Nursery places are made directly to New King's Road School. The closing date for applications for September 2026 was Friday 6 February 2026. Admissions Policies are available on our Policies Page.
I didn’t get a place, how can I appeal?
If your child is refused a place at a school, you can appeal against the decision. The schools in the Quality First Education Trust subscribe to Wandsworth Borough Council's admissions appeals service, which manages appeals on our behalf.
